South Korean tech giant Samsung has finally unveiled the Samsung Galaxy W22 5G that comes in as the successor of the Samsung Galaxy W21 5G launched last year in China, that is the China specific model of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 5G launched earlier this year.

Samsung Galaxy W22 5G has a a 7.6-inch Foldable Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, up to 1200 nits of peak brightness and 1768 x 2208 pixels resolution screen when the device is open and it offers a 6.2-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X 120Hz refresh rate display when closed with 832 x 2268 pixels resolution screen.
Samsung Galaxy W22 5G comes in powered with the Snapdragon 888 5G chipset coupled with 12GB of RAM and 256GB/512GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage with no expandable memory support. It also features a fingerprint sensor on the right side of the device for authentication and other features.
It features a vertical triple-lens rear camera setup with a 12MP (f/1.8) primary sensor with Dual-pixel PDAF and OIS support, a 12MP (f/2.4) telephoto lens with 2X Optical zoom and OIS and a 12MP (f/2.2) ultra-wide-angle lens with 123-degree FOV with an LED flash that offers up to 4K (@60fps) video recording support. It also offers 10MP (f/2.0) selfie camera that offers up to [email protected] video recording support.
It features a 4MP under-display selfie camera on the open mode and a 10MP selfie camera when the device is closed.
It comes in with Android 11 running with Samsung’s One UI 3.1.1 out-of-the-box, it features a 4,400 mAh battery with a 25W wired and 11W fast-charging support and it also offers 4.5W reverse wireless charging.
On connectivity it offers Wi-Fi 6e, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, and a USB-C 3.2 port for charging and data transfer.
