The South Korean electronics giant Samsung has announced the Samsung Galaxy A80 a new mid-range smartphone with a slider in the front which autonomously slides and works as a Selfie and moves to function as a rear camera too. A novel camera is a new feature added to the Galaxy A80.

The sliding pop-up camera makes the device screen notch-less and with a 6.7-inch FHD+ (1080 x 2400) Super AMOLED display. It contains a triple-camera array consisting of a main 48-megapixel f/2.0 camera, an ultrawide 8-megapixel f/2.2 camera, and a third ToF (time-of-flight) sensor.
Galaxy A80 is powered with a Snapdragon 730 chipset coupled with 8GB of RAM, 128GB of internal storage and it also includes an under-display fingerprint scanner. Galaxy A80 also includes a 3,700mAh battery that supports fast charging at 25W.

Samsung Galaxy A80 is priced at Rs. 47,999 in compared to 3,799 yuan (~Rs. 38,000) which makes it costly in terms of the price tag in China.
Samsung Galaxy A80 will be available in three colors: Angel Gold, Ghost White, and Phantom Black and it will first be open for pre-booking from July 22 to July 31, with sales starting from August 1 across all popular online channels and offline retailers.
Along with the Galaxy A80, Samsung has also announced that the Galaxy A70 will be released on April 26th and the Galaxy A80 will be released on May 29th. Pricing for the Galaxy A80 and A70 is yet to be announced.
