South Korean tech giant Samsung has unveiled the Galaxy A33 5G adding a new device to its Galaxy A series that comes in as the successor of the Galaxy A32 5G launched in 2021.

Samsung Galaxy A33 5G has a 6.4-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-V display with a 20:9 aspect ratio, 90Hz refresh rate screen, 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection on the front. It features a 13MP (f/2.2) selfie camera that sits inside the notch on the top center of the display that offers up to 1080p video recording support and it also includes smooth bezels on the bottom of the screen.
It comes in power with the an unspecified octa-core 5G chipset coupled with 6GB/8GB of RAM and 128GB/256GB of internal storage which is expandable up to 256GB using the shared SIM slot. It also features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security and other features.
It features a rectangular quad-lens rear camera setup with a 48MP (f/1.8) primary sensor with PDAF and OIS, an 8MP (ultrawide) with 123-degree FOV, a 5MP (f/2.4) macro lens and a 2MP depth sensor with Samsung’s single-take features that takes multiple shots in a single shot and offers up to 4K video recording support.
It comes in with Android 12 running with Samsung’s One UI 4.1 out-of-the-box, it has 5,000 mAh battery with a 25W USB-C Adaptive fast-charger in the box that can charge the device for 0-50% in just 30 minutes.
On connectivity, it offers dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, and a USB-C 2.0 for charging and data transfers.
