South Korean tech giant Samsung has finally unveiled the Galaxy A22 that comes in as the successor of the Galaxy A21 launched last year in Europe.

Samsung Galaxy A22 has a 6.4-inch HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-U display with a 20:9 aspect ratio and 720 x 1600 pixels resolution. It features a 13MP (f/2.2) selfie camera that sits inside the dot notch on the top center of the screen and it also includes smooth bezels on the bottom of the screen.

It comes in power with the Mediatek Helio G80 chipset coupled with 4GB/6GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB of internal storage with no expandable memory slot. It also features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for authentication and it also features AI face unlock for unlocking the device.

It features a square-shaped quad-lens rear camera setup with a 48MP (f/1.8) primary sensor with PDAF, an 8MP (ultrawide) with 123-degree FOV, a 2MP macro lens and a 2MP (depth sensor) with an LED flash, HDR and up to 1080p video recording support.

It comes in with Android 11 running with Samsung’s One UI 3.1 out-of-the-box, it features a 5,000 mAh battery with a 15W USB-C Adaptive fast-charger in the box.

On connectivity it offers dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, a 3.5mm headphone jack and a USB-C port for data transfer and charging.

Samsung Galaxy A22 is priced at Rs. 18,999 available in four Black, White, Mint, and Violet color options in India.
