Samsung has announced the Galaxy A12 its entry-level smartphone from the much loved Galaxy A series successor to the Galaxy A11 launched earlier this year.

Samsung Galaxy A12 has a 6.5-inch HD+ TFT capacitive screen with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio and 720 x 1560 pixels resolution, it features a teardrop notch on the top of the display that holds an 8MP (f/2.2) selfie camera with smooth bezels on the bottom.
It comes in power with an Octa-core processor (appears to be the Helio P35 SoC), coupled with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage which can be expanded using a dedicated microSD slot. It also features a fingerprint sensor on the right side of the device for authentication and other features.
It features a square-shaped quad-lens rear camera setup with a 48MP (f/2.0) primary sensor with autofocus support, a 5MP (ultrawide) lens with 115-degree FOV, a 2MP macro lens, and a 2MP (depth sensor) with superb camera features.
It comes in with Android 10.0 running out-of-the-box and includes a 5,000 mAh battery with 15W fast-charging support.
On connectivity, it offers WiFi, Bluetooth, a 3.5mm headphone jack and a USB-C port.

Samsung Galaxy A12 will be available from January 2021. The 64GB variant is priced at €179, and €199 for the 128GB variant in Europe.
