Xiaomi has finally rolled the covers off the Redmi K40 Pro at the event held in China that comes in as the successor of the Redmi K30 Pro launched last year.

Redmi K40 Pro comes in with a 6.67-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 360Hz touch sampling rate, a 20:9 aspect ratio, 2400 x 1080 pixels resolution, 1300 nits of peak brightness, HDR10+ and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 Protection display.
It features a tiny punch-hole cutout on the top of the display that holds a 20MP (f/2.0) selfie camera with HDR and up to 1080p video calling support.
It comes in powered with the Snapdragon 888 chipset coupled with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage. On the inside, it also baked in with a 3435 sq. mm. liquid cooling plate, vapor chamber, with intelligent temperature control.
Redmi K40 Pro features a rectangular triple-lens camera setup on the back which has a 64MP (f/1.7) primary sensor with PDAF, an 8MP (f/2.2) ultra-wide-angle lens with 119-degree FOV, and a 5MP (f/2.4) macro lens that offers up to 8K video recording support.
It comes in with Android 11 based MiUI 12 running out-of-the-box which includes multiple features like a dark theme and a number of work/life-focused features.
It features a huge 4,520 mAh battery with 33W fast-charging and as per the company, it can be charged from 0-100 percent in just 52 minutes.
Redmi K40 Pro Pricing and Availability:
Redmi K40 Pro starts at 2,799 yuan (about Rs. 31,500) for base variant of 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, 2,999 yuan (around Rs. 33,700) for the 8GB+128GB variant and 3,299 yuan (around Rs. 37,200) for the 8GB+256GB variant.
It is available in three black, white and blue color options in China.
