Xiaomi has pulled the cover off its most anticipated Flagship smartphone Redmi K30, Redmi K30 5G at the event held in Beijing, China.
Update: Redmi K30 5G Racing Edition with Snapdragon 768G chipset launched for 1,999 yuan (~Rs. 21,000) will be available from May 14th in China.
Redmi K30 5G specifications:
Redmi K30 5G features a new design that includes a frosted glass back panel on the center it features a circular camera patch. On the front of the device, it uses Gorilla Glass 5 protection and a 3D curved design for a more comfortable grip.
Redmi K30 5G has a 6.67-inch FHD+ IPS LCD display with a 20:9 aspect ratio, 120Hz refresh rate, and 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution. It features a punch-hole dual-lens camera with a 20MP (f/2.2) primary shooter and a 2MP (f/2.4) depth sensor on the front replacing the pop-up selfie camera in the Redmi K20 series.
Redmi K30 5G is powered with the latest Snapdragon 765G CPU and Adreno 620 GPU, coupled with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage that is expandable up to 256GB using the shared SIM slot. It includes Qualcomm’s first integrated chipset that has a built-in Snapdragon X52 5G modem.
On the back, it features a Quad-lens camera setup with 64MP (f/1.9) Sony IMX686 primary sensor, an 8MP (f/2.2) ultra-wide-angle lens with a 120-degree FOV, a 5MP dedicated macro lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. It comes packed with advanced features like Super Night Scene 2.0, Intelligent Ultra Wide Angle Mode, Portrait mode background blur, and much more.
It includes 4,500 mAh battery with 30W fast charging support via USB Type-C and can be charged from 0 to 100% in just an hour. It will come with Android 10 with MIUI 11 running out-of-the-box packed with MI Turbo 2.0 and Game Turbo 2.0.
Redmi K30 5G is priced at 1,999 yuan (~Rs. 20,200) for the 6GB+64GB base variant, with the 6GB+128GB, 8GB+128GB and the top variant of 8GB+256GB priced at 2,299 yuan (~Rs. 23,200), 2,599 yuan (~Rs. 26,200), and 2,899 yuan (~Rs. 26,200) respectively.
Redmi K30 Specifications:
Along with the 5G-enabled Redmi K30, the company also announced the 4G-enabled Redmi K30 which could make the entry in the Indian market soon. It features an almost similar design and specifications as the Redmi K30 5G with replaced Snapdragon 730G chipset, the same quad-lens camera with a 2MP macro lens in place of 5MP macro lens. it has the sane 4,500 mAh battery pack but with 27W fast-charging support.
Redmi K30 starts at 1,599 yuan (~Rs. 16,125) for the 6GB+64GB base variant, with the 6GB+128GB, 8GB+128GB and the top variant of 8GB+256GB priced at 1,699 yuan (~Rs. 17,125), 1,899 yuan (~Rs. 19,125), and 2,199 yuan (~Rs. 22,125) respectively.
