Xiaomi has launched the Redmi A1 adding a new entry level device to the Redmi Smartphone lineups in India.

Xiaomi Redmi A1 features a 6.52-inch HD+ IPS LCD screen with 20:9 aspect ratio, 720 x 1600 pixels resolution and up to 400 nits of peak brightness. It features a tear drop notch on the top center of the display which holds a 5MP selfie camera that offers up to 720p video calling support.
It comes in powered by the Mediatek Helio A22 chipset coupled with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of eMMC 5.1 internal storage with a dedicated microSD card slot for expandable memory support.
Redmi A1 features a rectangular dual-lens camera setup with an 8MP primary sensor and a 0.3MP secondary sensor with dual LED flash that offers up to 1080p video recording support.
It includes a 5,000 mAh battery that can last for a day smoothly and it comes in with Android 12-based MIUI 12 running out-of-the-box.
On connectivity it offers single band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0 and a microUSB 2.0 port for charging and data transfer with a 3.5mm headphone jack.
