Xiaomi has launched the Redmi 9i in India its latest addition to the entry-level smartphone Redmi 9 series with minor upgrades to the Redmi 9A launched earlier this month.
Redmi 9i specifications:
Redmi 9i has a 6.53-inch HD+ TFT IPS LCD screen with a 19:5:9 aspect ratio and 1600 x 720 pixels resolution display. It features Xiaomi’s waterdrop notch on the top that holds a 5MP (f/2.2) selfie camera that offers up to 720p video calling support.
Redmi 9i comes in powered with the same MediaTek Helio G25 processor and paired with 4GB of RAM and 64/128GB internal storage which is expandable up to 512GB using a dedicated microSD card slot.

Redmi 9i features a 13MP (f/2.2) rear camera with an LED flash, it also features a 5,000 mAh battery with 10W fast-charging support. The company says the Redmi 9i uses Enhanced Lifespan Battery (ELB) technology that makes the battery to last for up to 2.5 years without losing capacity.
It comes in with Android 10-based MIUI 12 running out-of-the-box. On connectivity, it offers Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, IR blaster, a USB-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The Redmi 9i starts at Rs. 8,299 for the 4GB + 64GB base variant while the 128GB variant is available for Rs. 9,299 in three color options namely, Midnight Black, Nature Green, and Sea Blue.
It will be available on sale starting from September 12th on Mi.com and Flipkart.
