Oppo’s sub-brand Realme is on a roll to jump up high to its arch-rival Xiaomi in India’s budget smartphone market and the company has just launched its new Realme XT budget smartphone which will be a tough competition to the Redmi Note 8 Pro launched earlier in China and soon will be launched in India.
Realme XT has a 6.4-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display with a waterdrop notch design with in-display fingerprint sensor and the waterdrop notch holds a 16MP (f/2.0) Sony IMX471 sensor for selfies.
Realme XT is similar to the earlier launched Realme 5 Pro, it is powered by Snapdragon 712 AIE chipset, coupled with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage which is expandable up to 256GB with a dedicated MicroSD card slot.
The main feature of Realme XT is the Quad-lens rear camera setup which has a Samsung’s 64MP ISOCELL Bright GW1 sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, a 2MP macro lens, and a 2MP depth sensor for nice portrait pictures.
Realme XT comes in with Android Pie (9.0) and ColorOS 6.0 running out-of-the-box. It has a Bluetooth 5.0, 3.5mm headphone jack and USB Type-C support. Realme XT is powered by 4,000 mAh battery with VOOC 3.0 fast charging support
