Realme has finally launched the Realme 8 and Realme 8 Pro at a virtual event updating its budget smartphone lineups in India successor to the Realme 7 series.
Realme 8 specifications:
Realme 8 features a 6.4-inch Full HD+ (1080 x 2400 pixels) Super AMOLED screen with a 180Hz touch sampling rate, 20:9 aspect ratio, 90.8% screen-to-body ratio, and Corning Gorilla Glass protection on the front. It features a punch-hole cutout on the top left of the display that holds a 16MP (f/2.4) Sony IMX471 selfie camera with 1080p video calling support.
It comes in power with the Mediatek Helio G95 chipset, coupled with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage (UFS 2.1). It also includes an upgraded Five-dimensional ice-sealed heat dissipation system that keeps the device cool and offers an optimal experience while gaming and other heavy tasks.
Realme 8 features a sqaure-shaped quad-lens camera setup with a 64MP (f/1.8) primary sensor with PDAF, an 8MP (f/2.3) ultra-wide lens with 119-degree FOV, a 2MP (f/2.4) B&W lens, and a 2MP (f/2.4) macro lens that is capable of taking brilliant photos and up to 4K video recording support.
It comes in with Android 11 based realme UI 2.0 running out-of-the-box. It includes a 5,000 mAh battery with 30W Dart Charge fast-charging that juice up the battery from 0-100% in just 65 minutes.
On connectivity, it offers dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.1, a USB-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Realme 8 starts at Rs. 14,999 for the 4GB and 128GB base variant while the 6GB RAM variant is available for Rs. 15,999 and the top variant with 8GB of RAM is available at Rs. 16,999 in India.
It is available in two color options namely, Cyber Black and Cyber White sale starting from March 25th on Realme official website and Flipkart.
