Asus has partnered with Qualcomm to announce the Qualcomm Smartphone for Snapdragon Insiders community that is designed to cater more than 1.6 million ‘Snapdragon Insiders’ community of fans and enthusiasts who participate in online forums and are among the first to hear about news coming from Qualcomm.

Qualcomm Smartphone for Snapdragon Insiders has a 6.78-inch FHD+ 144Hz refresh rate Samsung AMOLED screen with 2448 x 1080 pixels resolution and up to 1100 nits of peak brightness, it offers ~84.2% screen-to-body ratio, a 20:9 aspect ratio, and HDR10+ support with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection in the front of the device.
It includes a 24MP selfie camera that sits inside the smooth notch on the top of the display that offers up to 4K video recording support.
It comes in power with the Snapdragon 888 chipset that is paired with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage (UFS 3.1) with no expandable memory support.
It features a horizontal triple-lens camera setup with a 64MP (f/1.8) primary sensor with PDAF and OIS technology, and a 12MP (f/2.2) ultra-wide-angle lens with 112-degree FOV and an 8MP telephoto lens with 3X optical zoom that features Qualcomm AI software experiences like auto zoom and AI object tracking.
It also includes Qualcomm’s 2nd generation 3D Sonic Sensor as the fingerprint sensor on the back of the device for authentication and other features.
It includes a 4,000 mAh battery with Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 5.0 charger that can charge the device from 0-70% in just 30 minutes.
On connectivity, it offers WiFi 6e, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, and a USB-C 2.0 port for charging and data transfer.
Qualcomm Smartphone for Snapdragon Insiders will be exclusively manufactured and marketed by Asus and will be launched in China, US, Germany, UK, Japan, South Korea, and India in August this year.
