Oppo has finally unveiled the Oppo Reno8 series with the launch of Oppo Reno8 5G, Reno8 Pro 5G, and Reno8 Pro+ 5G in China. Oppo Reno8 series comes in as the successor to the Oppo Reno7 series launched earlier this year.

Oppo Reno8 Pro has a 6.62-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate screen, 20:9 aspect ratio, 90.8% screen-to-body ratio, 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution, up to 1300 nits of peak brightness with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection on the front. It features a tiny punch-hole cutout on the top of the display that holds a 32MP (f/2.4) selfie camera with Panorama, HDR and 1080p video calling support.
Oppo Reno8 Pro features a flat front and back with flat sides that gives it a box-shape.
It comes in power with the Snapdragon 7 Gen1 chipset that offers Dual-mode 5G support and comes in paired with 8GB/12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage (UFS 2.2). It features a faster under-display optical fingerprint sensor for security that unlocks the device in just 0.34 seconds and it comes in with Android 12-based ColorOS 12.1 running out-of-the-box.
It features a rectangular triple-lens camera setup that includes a 50MP (f/1.8) primary sensor with PDAF, an 8MP (f/2.2) ultra-wide-angle lens with 120-degree FOV, and a 2MP macro lens with superb photography and videography features including 4K @ 30fps video recording support.
It has a 4,500 mAh battery with 80W SuperVOOC 2.0 fast-charging (1-45% in just 10 minutes) and offers reverse charging support.
On connectivity, it offers Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, USB-C 2.0 port, but no 3.5mm headphone jack.

Oppo Reno8 Pro starts at 2,999 yuan for the 8GB/128GB base variant while the top variant with 12GB/256GB is priced at 3,499 yuan available in three blue, black and gradient color options in China.
