Oppo released the flagship Reno series earlier this year with the Reno 10X Zoom and a few months later the company introduced the Reno 2 series and just before the end of the year the company has launched the much-awaited Oppo Reno 3 series with Reno 3 making it’s entry to the affordable 5G smartphone.
Oppo Reno 3 specifications:
Oppo Reno 3 features a similar design as Oppo Reno 3 Pro 5G on the back but the front ditches a dual-curved design. It has a sleek design with just 7.96 mm thickness and weighs 171 grams.
Oppo Reno 3 has a 6.4-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate, a 20:9 aspect ratio, 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution. It has a waterdrop notch on the top of the display that holds a 32MP selfie camera with multiple beauty features.
It is the first smartphone to feature MediaTek Dimensity 1000 chipset launched earlier in November this year, it comes in paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage. It has a faster under-display fingerprint sensor and it comes in with Android 10 with Oppo’s ColorOS 7 running out-of-the-box.
It features a vertical quad-lens camera setup that has a 64MP (f/1.7) primary sensor, an 8MP (ultrawide lens with 115-degree FOV), a 2MP (f/2.4) macro sensor, and a 2MP (f/2.4) macro sensor on the back with superb photography and videography features.
Oppo Reno 3 has a 4,025 mAh battery with VOOC 4.0 charging support and it comes with 30W USB Type-C fast-charging charger. The company says that its battery can run for the whole day in a single charge by using the display on the 90Hz refresh rate.
Pricing & Availability:
Oppo Reno 3 will be first available in China starting at 3,399 yuan (~Rs. 34,600) for 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, and 3,699 yuan (~Rs. 37,700) for 12GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.
It will be available in four color options named as Moon night black, Sunrise Impression, Misty White, and Blue starry night.
It is available for pre-order now and will go on sale from December 31st.
