Chinese tech giant Oppo has officially unveiled the Oppo Ace 2 at the event held in China. Oppo Ace 2 is the successor of the Oppo Reno Ace that was launched last year but the Reno tag from the device has been dropped.

Oppo Ace 2 makes a huge comparison with the company’s latest flagship device Oppo Find X2 Pro that features a glass screen with Gorilla Glass 5 protection on the front and back with aluminum frame. The device is 8.6mm thick and weighs 186 grams.
Oppo Ace 2 has a 6.55-inch QHD+ AMOLED display with curved edges it features a 90Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, 1080 x 2400-pixels resolution. It features a tiny punch-hole cutout with a 16MP (f/2.4) selfie camera at the top left of the device.
It comes in power with the Snapdragon 865 chipset coupled with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.0 internal storage. It offers dual-mode 5G connectivity support, Bluetooth 5.1, IP68 certification, and much more.
It also features an in-display fingerprint sensor that unlocks the device faster than the Oppo Reno Ace.
On the back, it features a ring-shaped quad-lens camera setup with a 48MP (f/1.7) primary sensor that has all-pixel Omni-directional PDAF technology, an 8MP (f/2.2) ultra-wide-angle lens with 120-degree field of view, a 2MP (f/2.4) portrait sensor, and a 2MP (f/2.4) monochrome lens
It comes in with Android 10 with Oppo’s ColorOS 7.1 running out-of-the-box
It has a 4,000 mAh battery with a 40W Air VOOC wireless charging and 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 charging support using a bundled cable. It can charge the device 0-100% in just 30 minutes while wireless charging takes 56 minutes to charge the device from 0-100% and offers reverse wireless charging at 10W.
Oppo Ace 2 Pricing & Availability:
Oppo Ace 2 starts at 3,999 yuan (~Rs. 43,200) for the base variant of 8GB RAM + 128GB storage, while the 8GB + 256GB is priced at 4,399 yuan (~Rs. 47,500) and 4,599 yuan (~Rs. 49,700) for the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage top variant.
It is available in three attractive color options namely Aurora Silver, Moon Rock Grey, and Fantasy Purple and it will go on sale in China from April 20.
The company will probably announce the device in other countries soon.
