Oppo has launched the Oppo A97 5G a new addition to the Oppo A series.

Oppo A97 5G has a 6.6-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 20:9 aspect ratio, 90.8% screen-to-body ratio, 2400 X 1080 pixels resolution and up to 600nits of peak brightness. It features an 12MP (f/2.0) selfie camera that sits under the teardrop notch on the top of the display with thin bezels at the bottom and Corning Gorilla Glass 3+ protection.
It comes in power with the Dimensity 810 5G chipset paired with 12GB of RAM and 256GB internal storage that can be expanded up to 256GB using a dedicated microSD card slot. It includes an under-display fingerprint sensor for authentication and other features.
It features a rectangular-shaped dual-lens camera setup that includes a 48MP (f/1.7) primary sensor with AF and a 2MP (f/2.4) depth sensor that offers up to 1080p video recording support.
Oppo A97 5G has a 5,000 mAh battery with 33W SuperVOOC 2.0 fast-charging support that can charge the device from 0-53% in just 30 minutes. It includes Dual Band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0 and NFC for connectivity with a 3.5mm headphone jack and a USB-C port.
It comes in with Android 12 based ColorOS 12.1 running out-of-the-box and it weighs 175 grams with just 7.95mm thickness.
