Oppo has launched the Oppo A96 adding a new smartphone to its affordable Oppo A series that comes in as the successor of Oppo A94 launched last year.

Oppo A96 features a 6.43-inch FHD+ OLED display with a 20:9 aspect ratio, 90.5% screen-to-body ratio and 2400 X 1080 pixels resolution and up to 600 nits of brightness. It features a punch hole cutout on the top left of the display that holds a 16MP (f/2.4) selfie camera with thin bezels at the bottom.
It comes in power with the Snapdragon 695 5G chipset paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB/256GB of internal storage (UFS 2.2) that can be expanded up to 256GB using a dedicated microSD card slot. It features an under-display fingerprint sensor for authentication and other features.
It features a vertical Dual-lens (with LED) camera setup that includes a 48MP (f/1.7) primary sensor with PDAF and a 2MP depth sensor that offers up to 4K video recording support.
Oppo A96 has a 4,500 mAh battery with 33W fast-charging support that can charge the device from 0-100% in just 63 minutes. On connectivity it offers dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.1, a 3.5mm headphone jack and a USB-C 2.0 port for charging and data transfer.
It comes in with Android 11-based ColorOS 12 running out-of-the-box with multiple gaming features like Game Boost, and it weighs 171 grams with just 7.5mm thickness.
