China’s tech giant Oppo has silently launched the Oppo A92s, a new addition to its mid-range smartphone Oppo A series with a number of high-end specifications in China.

Oppo A92s has a 6.5-inch HD+ (1080 x 2400 pixels) IPS LCD with a 120Hz refresh rate display screen with a 20:9 aspect ratio and 84% screen-to-body ratio. It features a cutout on the top left of the display that holds a dual-lens selfie camera with a 16MP (f/2.0) and a 2MP depth sensor for portrait shots.
It comes in powered by the Mediatek Dimensity 800 5G chipset paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.1 internal storage that can be expanded up to 512GB using a dedicated microSD card slot. It features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
It features a square-shaped quad-lens camera setup that has a 48MP (f/1.7) primary sensor with PDAF technology, an 8MP (f/2.2) ultra-wide-angle lens and two dedicated 2MP (f/2.4) depth and 2MP (f/2.4) macro sensor on the back with superb camera features.
Oppo A92s has a 3,890 mAh battery with 20W fast-charging support via USB Type-C port that can last “all-day” on a single charge. It includes Dual Band WiFi and Bluetooth 5.0 for connectivity.
It comes in with Android 10-based ColorOS 7.0 out-of-the-box with multiple gaming features like Game Boost 2.0, and it weighs 184 grams.
Pricing & Availability:
The Oppo A92s start at CNY 2,199 (~Rs. 23,700) for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage and the top variant of 8GB+128GB will be available for 2,499 yuan (~Rs. 27,000).
It will be available in Black and White color options and will go on sale on April 29 in China.
