Chinese tech giant Oppo has launched the Oppo A55 5G adding a new affordable 5G smartphone in China.

Oppo A55 5G has a 6.5-inch HD+ (1600 x 720 pixels) 60Hz refresh rate IPS LCD display screen with a 20:9 aspect ratio and 88.7% screen-to-body ratio it features a teardrop notch on the center of the display that holds an 8MP (f/2.0) selfie camera with smooth bezels at the bottom of the device.
It comes in powered by the Dimensity 700 5G chipset paired with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage that can be expanded up to 1TB using a dedicated microSD card slot. It includes a fingerprint sensor-equipped in the power button for authentication.
It features a vertical-shaped triple-lens camera setup that has a 13MP (f/2.2) primary sensor with PDAF, a 2MP (f/2.4) macro lens, and a 2MP (f/2.4) depth sensor on the back with an LED flash.
Oppo A55 5G has a 5,000 mAh battery with 10W charging support via USB Type-C port that can last “all-day” on a single charge. It includes Dual Band WiFi and Bluetooth 5.1 for connectivity with a 3.5mm headphone jack.
It comes in with Android 11 based ColorOS 11.1 running out-of-the-box and it weighs 186 grams.
