Oppo has launched the Oppo A36 adding a new smartphone to its affordable Oppo A series that comes in as the successor of Oppo A36 launched last year.

Oppo A36 features a 6.56-inch HD+ IPS LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate, 20:9 aspect ratio, 90.5% screen-to-body ratio and 2400 X 1080 pixels resolution and up to 600 nits of brightness. It features a punch hole cutout on the top left of the display that holds an 8MP (f/2.4) selfie camera with thin bezels at the bottom.
It comes in power with the Snapdragon 680 chipset paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB/256GB of internal storage (UFS 2.2) that can be expanded up to 256GB using a dedicated microSD card slot. It features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for authentication and other features.
It features a vertical Dual-lens camera setup that includes a 13MP (f/2.2) primary sensor with PDAF and a 2MP depth sensor that offers up to 1080p video recording support.
Oppo A36 has a 5,000 mAh battery with fast-charging support. On connectivity it offers dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, a 3.5mm headphone jack and a USB-C 2.0 port for charging and data transfer.
It comes in with Android 11-based ColorOS 11.1 running out-of-the-box and it weighs 185 grams with just 8.4mm thickness.
