China’s tech giant Oppo has silently launched the Oppo A12, a new addition to its budget-friendly Oppo A series with a number of major improvements in India after it was launched in Indonesia.
Oppo A12 specifications:
Oppo A12 has a 6.22-inch HD+ (720 x 1520 pixels) IPS LCD display with a 19:9 aspect ratio and Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It features a waterdrop notch on the top of the display that holds a 5MP (f/2.4) selfie camera.
It comes in powered by the Mediatek Helio P35 chipset paired with up to 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 512GB using a dedicated microSD card slot. It features a physical fingerprint sensor on the back and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
It features a horizontal dual-lens camera setup with a 13MP (f/2.2) primary sensor and a 2MP (f/2.4) depth sensor on the back with superb camera features.
Oppo A12 has a 4,230 mAh battery that charges over a USB-connector and offers up to 8 hours gaming in a single charge. It comes in with Android Pie (9.0)-based ColorOS 6.1 out-of-the-box and weighs about 165 grams.

Oppo A12 has been launched in India starting at Rs. 9,990 for the base 3GB RAM + 32GB storage model, while the 4GB+64GB model is available for Rs. 11,490. It will be available in India from June 10th.
Oppo A12 is available in Indonesia for IDR 2,499,000 ($160/INR 12,365) for the 4/64GB model in Blue and Black color options.
