OnePlus CEO Pete Lau announced from the Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Tech Summit today that OnePlus will be the first to release a 5G smartphone in Europe with EE to be getting it first.
OnePlus have already announced that they will release the first 5G smartphone next year. The new launched OnePlus flagship phone will have the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor (and presumably Qualcomm’s X50 5G modem).
Unlike OnePlus, Samsung have promised that they will launch a 5G smartphone on AT&T and Verizon sometime next year.
