OnePlus have officially launched the most-anticipated OnePlus Nord 5G at the virtual AR live-stream launch event held in several countries on Tuesday.

OnePlus Nord 5G features a quite similar but different design than the previous OnePlus phones, it offers a glass front (flat) and glass back (curved) design.
It features a 6.44-inch FHD+ Fluid AMOLED with a 90Hz refresh rate and 180Hz Touch sampling rate display. It offers 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution, and a 20:9 aspect ratio. It includes a punch-hole cutout on the top left of the display that holds a dual-lens selfie camera with a 32MP (f/2.45) Sony IMX616 sensor and an 8MP (f/2.45) wide-angle lens with 105-degree for beautiful selfies.
OnePlus Nord 5G is powered by the Snapdragon 765G chipset with the Snapdragon X55 modem onboard for 5G connectivity and supports both SA/NSA 5G modes and it comes in coupled with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 2.1 storage. It offers an in-display fingerprint sensor for security and there is no 3.5mm headphone jack as the company approaches to sell its first TWS OnePlus Buds.
It features a vertical quad-lens camera setup with a 48MP (f/1.75) Sony IMX586 primary sensor with PDAF and OIS technology, an 8MP (f/2.45) ultra-wide-angle lens with 119-degree FOV, a 5MP depth sensor, and a 2MP macro lens.
It will come pre-loaded with Android 10 based Oxygen OS 10.5, it includes the haptic motor (Haptic vibration 2.0) for better performance in mobile gaming.
It has a 4,115 mAh battery with 30W Warp Charge 30T fast charging that can charge 0-70% in just 30 minutes. It includes support for dual-band WiFi (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac), Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, and a USB Type-C port for data transfer and charging.
Similar to OnePlus flagship devices, OnePlus Nord will receive 2 years of software updates and 3 years of security updates.
It weighs just 184 grams and offers 8.2 thickness.

OnePlus Nord 5G is priced at Rs. 27,999 for the base variant of 8GB RAM and 128GB storage and the 12GB + 256GB variant is priced at Rs. 29,999 available in two stunning color options namely Gray Onyx and Blue Marble.
It is available for sale starting from August 4th in India on Amazon and OnePlus official Website.
The company has also announced a 6GB + 64GB variant priced at Rs. 24,999 that will be exclusively available on Amazon from September.
