OnePlus 9 with Snapdragon 888 chipset, 120Hz display, 50MP Triple camera and 65W fast-charging launched

OnePlus have officially launched its new OnePlus 9 Series on Tuesday at the live-streamed launch event.

OnePlus 9 specifications:

OnePlus 9 features a 6.55-inch FHD+ Fluid AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 1080 x 2400 pixels and 20:9 aspect ratio screen. It includes a 3.38mm cutout on the left of the display that holds a 16MP (f/2.4) Sony IMX471 selfie camera that offers HDR and 1080p video recording support.

OnePlus 9 is powered by the Snapdragon 888 chipset with the Snapdragon X60 modem onboard for 5G connectivity and supports both SA/NSA 5G modes paired with up to 8GB/12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB/256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.

It includes dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos offers the brilliant sound quality, while 3.5mm headphone jack has been removed.

OnePlus 9 features a rectangular triple-lens camera setup with a 48MP (f/1.8) Sony IMX689 primary sensor with OIS technology, a 50MP (f/2.2) Sony IMX766 primary sensor ultra-wide-angle lens with 120-degree FOV, and a 2MP monochrome lens with Dual LED flash that offers up to 8K video recording support.

OnePlus 9 camera is packed with multiple features like video stabilization, 720p super slow-mo video recording at 960fps and includes 3 microphones to offer audio zoom.

It will come pre-loaded with Android 11 based on OnePlus’ Oxygen OS 11, it has stereo speakers and a new haptic motor (Haptic vibration 2.0) for better performance in mobile gaming.

It has a 4,500 mAh battery with Warp Charge 65T fast charging that can now charge 0-100% in just 29 minutes. It includes support for WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, and a USB Type-C 3.1 port for charging and data transfer.

Pricing and Availability:

OnePlus 9 starts at Rs. 49,999 for the 8GB+128GB base variant and the 12GB+256GB top variant is available for Rs. 54,999 in India available in three stunning color options namely Astral Black, Arctic Sky, and Winter Mist.
