China-based Nubia Technology has launched the Nubia Red Magic 7S its latest gaming smartphone to compete against Xiaomi’s Black Shark, Asus ROG Phone, Lenovo Legion Duel and Vivo’s iQOO, as a gaming smartphone it comes in packed with high-end specifications.

Nubia Red Magic 7S has a 6.8-inch Full HD+ (1080×2400 pixels) AMOLED display with a 20:9 aspect ratio, an 82.5%% screen-to-body ratio, a 165Hz refresh rate, 720Hz touch response rate with HDR 10+ support and up to 700 nits of peak brightness. It also features an under-display fingerprint sensor on the front of the device for smooth authentication.
It comes in powered by the latest Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 chipset paired with 8GB/12GB/16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB/256GB/512GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage. The device has dual-mode 5G connectivity and offers faster Wi-Fi 6e support and comes in running with Android 12-based Red Magic OS 5.5 out-of-the-box.
To keep the device cool it includes a 9-layer system that has an upgraded fan with a “shark fin” design that increases air pressure and reduces noise and it also includes the Active Liquid-Cooling solution.
It features a rectangular triple-lens camera setup with a 64MP (f/1.7) primary sensor with PDAF, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens with 120-degree FOV, and a 2MP macro lens that is capable of capturing up to 8K video recording. It also offers an 8MP (f/2.0) selfie camera with 1080p video calling support.
Nubia Red Magic 7S has a 4,500 mAh battery with a 120W fast-charging technology to provide you a hefty gaming session and the company claims can charge your device from 0-100% in just 17 minutes.

Nubia Red Magic 7S starts at 3,999 yuan for the 8GB/128GB storage base variant while the top variant with 16GB/512GB is priced at 5,499 yuan in China.
It is available in Dark Knight and Deuterium transparent edition color options in China.
