ZTE’s sub-brand Nubia Technology has launched the Nubia Play 5G its latest addition to gaming smartphone series in China to compete against Xiaomi’s Black Shark, Asus ROG Phone and Vivo’s iQOO 3, as a gaming smartphone it comes in packed with high-end specifications.

Nubia Red Magic 5G has a 6.65-inch Full HD+ (1080×2340 pixels) AMOLED display with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio, an 80.5%% screen-to-body ratio, a much higher 144Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch response rate with HDR 10+ support. It features thin bezels on the top and bottom which features a 12MP (f/2.0) Selfie camera for video calling and other services.
It comes in powered by the latest Snapdragon 765G CPU and Adreno 620 GPU paired with up to 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 2.1 internal storage. The device has dual-mode 5G connectivity and faster Wi-Fi 6 support and comes in running with Android 10-based nubia UI 8.0 out-of-the-box.
To keep the device cool it comes in equipped with ICE2.5 multiple heat dissipation system, 61mm liquid cooling tube, and has a variety of heat dissipation materials such as thermal graphite, thermal gel, etc. that can cool the CPU at 16 degrees Celsius to ensure continuous high-performance output and bring better Gaming experience.
It features a vertical quad-lens camera setup with a 48MP (f/1.8) Sony IMX582 primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, a 2MP macro lens and a 2MP depth sensor that is capable of capturing high-quality images.
Nubia Play has a massive 5,100 mAh battery with a 30W PD fast-charging technology to provide you a hefty gaming session.

Nubia Play 5G starts at 2,399 yuan (~Rs. 26,000) for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage base variant in three attractive colors blue, black, and white. It also offers two other configurations
8GB+128GB – 2,699 yuan (~Rs. 29,000)
8GB+256GB – 2,999 yuan (~Rs. 32,500)
It will be available in China from April 24th. No announcement yet for release in other countries.
