Nothing has finally launched the Phone (1) entering the smartphone market after releasing the Earbuds (1) last year and following the same unique design and fundamentals to usual gadgets.

Nothing Phone (1) has a 6.55-inch Full HD+ OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, 10-bit colour depth, 20:9 aspect ratio, 88.3% screen-to-body ratio, 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution, up to 1,200 nits of peak brightness and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 screen with a punch hole on the top left of the screen that holds a 16MP (f/2.2) selfie camera with 1080p video calling support.
Nothing Phone (1) comes in power with the Snapdragon 778G+ 5G chipset coupled with 8GB/12GB of RAM and 128GB/256GB of internal storage (UFS 3.1) with no expandable memory support. It features a 4,500 mAh battery with 33W fast-charging support that can be charged from 0-50% in about 30 minutes, 15W wireless charging and 5W reverse wireless charging support.
It features a vertical dual-lens rear camera setup which includes a 50MP (f/1.8) Sony IMX766 primary sensor with PDAF and OIS technology, and a 50MP Samsung JN1 ultra-wide-angle lens with 114-degree FOV that offers up to 4K video recording support.
The main unique selling points of Nothing Phone (1) will be the transparency on the back, “Glyph interface” LEDs that perform as per your settings and some default operations such as when you’re charging you get a progress indicator, when you’re reverse wireless charging something you also get an indicator of that, and camera lights too.
It comes in with Android 12-based Nothing OS 1 running out-of-the-box that includes multiple improved features including Quick Settings control for Nothing’s ear (1) TWS earbuds, and another one for Tesla cars.
On connectivity it offers Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, and a USB-C 2.0 port for transferring the data.

Nothing Phone (1) start at £399 for the 8GB/128GB base variant, while the 256GB storage variant is priced at £499 available in two white and black color options in Europe. A top variant with 12GB/256GB will be available later.
