Nokia X100 with Snapdragon 480 5G chipset, 48MP Quad lens camera and long-lasting battery life launched

HMD Global, the maker of the Nokia-branded phones has officially launched the Nokia X100, a new addition to affordable 5G smartphone Nokia X series globally.

Nokia X100 has a 6.67-inch FHD+ IPS LCD screen with a 20:9 aspect ratio, 1080 × 2400 pixels resolution at 395ppi density it features a tiny punch hole cutout on the top center of the display that holds a 16MP (f/2.0) selfie camera and soft bezels with Nokia branding on the bottom.

Nokia X100 comes in power with the Snapdragon 480 5G chipset coupled with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage (eMMC 5.1) that is expandable up to 512GB using a shared SIM slot.

It features a circular ring-shaped quad-lens rear camera set up on the back with a 48MP (f/1.8) primary sensor with PDAF, a 5MP ultra-wide-angle lens with 118-degree FOV, a 2MP macro sensor, and a 2MP depth sensor with HDR and up to 4K video recording support.

It features a fingerprint sensor on the right side of the device for authentication, it also features a dedicated Google Assistant button on the side and a 3.5mm headphone jack on the bottom.

It has a 4,470 mAh battery with 18W USB-C fast charging support, it comes in with Android 11 running out-of-the-box with support for up to 3 years of guaranteed software updates in the future.

On connectivity, it offers dual-band 5G, dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.1, and NFC support.

Nokia X100 will be available for 219 euros in Midnight Blue color in Europe.
