HMD Global, the maker of the Nokia-branded phones has officially launched the Nokia G50 5G, a new addition to its Nokia G series globally that comes in as the most affordable 5G smartphone launched by the company.

Nokia G50 5G has a 6.82-inch HD+ IPS LCD screen with a 19:5:9 aspect ratio, 720 × 1560 pixels resolution at 252ppi density it features a teardrop notch on the top center of the display that holds an 8MP (f/2.0) selfie camera and soft bezels with Nokia branding on the bottom.
Nokia G50 5G comes in powered with the Snapdragon 480 5G chipset coupled with 4GB/6GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB of internal storage (eMMC 5.1) that is expandable up to 512GB using a dedicated microSD card slot.
It features a circular ring-shaped triple-lens rear camera set up on the back with a 48MP (f/1.8) primary sensor with PDAF, a 5MP ultra-wide-angle lens with 118-degree FOV, and a 2MP depth sensor with HDR and up to 1080p video recording support.
It features a fingerprint sensor on the right side of the device for authentication, it also features a dedicated Google Assistant button on the side and a 3.5mm headphone jack on the bottom.
It has a 5,000 mAh battery with an 18W USB-C fast-charging support, it comes in with Android 11 running out-of-the-box with support for up to 3 years of guaranteed software and security updates in the future.
On connectivity, it offers Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC and a 3.5mm headphone jack support.
Nokia G50 5G will be available for 269 euros for the 4GB + 128GB base variant in Midnight Sun and Ocean Blue color options in Europe.
