HMD Global, the maker of the Nokia-branded phones has officially launched the Nokia G22, a new addition to its Nokia G series globally.

It has a 6.52-inch HD+ IPS LCD screen with a 90Hz refresh rate, 20:9 aspect ratio, 720 × 1600 pixels resolution at 269ppi density, up to 500 nits of peak brightness and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection on the front, it features a teardrop notch on the top center of the display that holds an 8MP (f/2.0) selfie camera and soft bezels with Nokia branding on the bottom.
It comes in power with the Unisoc T606 chipset coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB of internal storage (UFS 2.2) that is expandable up to 256GB using the shared SIM slot.
It features a rectangular triple-lens rear camera setup on the back with a 50MP (f/1.8) primary sensor with PDAF, a 2MP macro lens, and a 2MP depth sensor with HDR and up to 1080p video recording support.
It features a fingerprint sensor on the right side of the device for authentication, it also features a dedicated Google Assistant button on the side and a 3.5mm headphone jack on the bottom. On connectivity, it offers dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, FM Radio and NFC support.
It has a 5,050 mAh battery with 20W USB-C charging support, it comes in with Android 12 running out-of-the-box with support for up to 3 years of guaranteed software updates in the future.
Nokia G22 will be available for 179 euros in Lagoon Blue and Meteor Gray color options in Europe.
