HMD Global, the maker of the Nokia-branded phones has officially launched the Nokia 5.3 successor to the Nokia 5.2 launched in 2019 alongside Nokia 8.3 5G the company’s first 5G smartphone.
After a long wait the Nokia 5.3 has been launched in India.

Nokia 5.3 has a 6.55-inch HD+ IPS LCD screen with a 20:9 aspect ratio, 720 × 1600 pixels resolution at 268ppi density it features a waterdrop notch on the display that holds an 8MP (f/2.0) selfie camera and soft bezels with Nokia branding on the bottom.
Nokia 5.3 comes in power with the Snapdragon 665 chipset and comes in coupled with up to 6GB of RAM and up to 64GB of internal storage (eMMC 5.1) which is expandable up to 512GB using a dedicated microSD card slot.
It features a circular ring-shaped quad-lens rear camera set up on the back with a 13MP (f/1.8) primary sensor, a 5MP ultra-wide-angle lens with 118-degree FOV, a 2MP macro sensor, and a 2MP depth sensor.
It features a physical fingerprint sensor on the back of the device below the camera setup, it also features a dedicated Google Assistant button on the side and a 3.5mm headphone jack on the bottom.
It has a 4,000 mAh battery with 10W basic charging support, it comes in with Android 10-based Android Go running out-of-the-box with support for up to 3 years of guaranteed software updates which suggest it will definitely get Android 11 in the future.
Nokia 5.3 starts at Rs. 13,999 for the 4GB +64GB base variant while the top variant with 6GB of RAM is available for Rs. 15,499 in three colors named Cyan, Sand, and Charcoal options.
Nokia 5.3 was first launched in the Europe for 189 euros.
