Motorola has launched the Motorola Razr 2022 upgrading the Motorola Razr 5G with improvements to display and specifications.

The design of the new Motorola Razr 2022 is similar to the original clamshell foldable design that has a 6.7-inch P-OLED foldable screen with 1080 x 2400 resolution and a 2.7″ G-OLED outer screen with 800 x 573 resolution.
Motorola Razr 2022 has a 6.7-inch plastic OLED panel with a 21:9 aspect ratio and (2400 x 1080) pixels resolution that folds in half along the horizontal axis, and when folded it has a secondary display ‘Quick View’ 2.7-inch glass OLED panel with 573×800 pixels resolution.
Motorola Razr 2022 comes in powered with the Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 chipset that adds 5G support for the device and is paired with 8GB/12GB of RAM and 128GB/256GB/512GB of internal storage. It comes in with a 3,500 mAh battery with 33W fast-charging support.
When unfolded the device has a 32MP (f/2.5) selfie camera with Auto HDR and on the back, it features a horizontal dual-lens camera setup with a 50MP (f/1.7) primary camera with PDAF and OIS and a 13MP ultra-wide angle lens with 121-degree FOV and a dual-LED flash that offers up to 4K video recording support.
It comes with Android 12-base MYUI 4.0 running out-of-the-box.
For connectivity, it features Bluetooth 5.2, Wi-Fi 6e with dual-band support, NFC, USB-C 3.0 port, and all major navigation systems.
It also includes the secret “Retro Razr” mode that turns your modern smartphone into it’s 2004-era predecessor and the mode is like an Android Launcher for the device that re-creates the original RAZR UI through software, right down to the classic boot animation.

Motorola Razr 2022 starts at 5,999 yuan for the base 8GB/128GB while the top variant with 12GB/512GB is priced at 7,299 yuan available in a single black color in China.
