Lenovo-owned Motorola has launched the Motorola Edge X30 adding a new device to the Motorola Edge Series in China.

Motorola Edge X30 has a 6.7-inch FHD+ OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, 20:9 aspect ratio, HDR10+ and 2400 x 1080 pixels resolution screen with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection on the front. It also features a 60MP (f/2.2) selfie camera placed under the punch hole cutout on the top center with HDR and up to 4K video recording support while the SE variant offers a 60MP (f/2.2) under-display selfie camera with HDR and up to 4K video recording support.
It comes in powered with the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen1 (4nm) chipset paired with 8GB/12GB of RAM and 128GB/256GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage with no expandable memory support. It offers multiple-band 5G support, Wi-Fi 6e, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC and no 3.5mm headphone jack. It features an under-display fingerprint sensor for authentication and other features.
It features a vertical triple-lens camera setup that has a 50MP (f/1.9) OmniVision’s OV50A primary sensor with Dual Pixel PDAF and OIS support, a 50MP (ultra-wide) ISOCELL S5KGM1 sensor with a 114-degree field of view, and a 2MP depth sensor with Dual-LED flash that offers HDR and up to 4K video recording support.
Motorola Edge X30 supports Motorola’s camera features like AI-powered night mode and shot optimization.
It comes in with a 5,000 mAh battery with 68W fast-charging support that can charge the device from 0-100% in just 35 minutes via USB-C 2.0 port, and comes with Android 12-based MYUI 3.0 running out-of-the-box,
The device is just 8.5 mm thick and it weighs up to 194 grams (color dependent).

Motorola Edge X30 is priced at 3,199 yuan for the base 8GB and 128GB variant, 256GB variant is priced at 3,399 yuan while the top variant with UD Selfie camera 12GB/256GB storage is priced at 3,999 yuan available in Phantom Black and Glacier Blue color options in China.
It is expected to be launched in other regions soon.
