Lenovo-owned Motorola has unveiled its most anticipated Motorola Edge S a new addition to its mid-range lineup of smartphones in China.

Motorola Edge S has a 6.7-inch FHD+ IPS LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate, 21:9 aspect ratio, HDR10 and 2520 x 1080 pixels resolution. It also features a punch hole cutout of the top left of the display that includes a dual-lens selfie camera with a 16MP (f/2.0) primary sensor and an 8MP ultra-wide angle lens with AI-features.
It comes in powered with the Snapdragon 870 5G chipset paired with 6GB/8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage with expandable memory support. It offers dual-band 5G support, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC and a 3.5mm headphone jack. It features a fingerprint sensor on the right side of the device for authentication and other features.
It features a square-shaped quad-lens camera setup that has a 64MP (f/1.7) primary sensor with PDAF support, a 16MP (ultra-wide) sensor with a 121-degree field of view, a 2MP depth sensor and it also includes a TOF 3D sensor.
Motorola Edge S supports Motorola’s camera features like AI-powered night mode and shot optimization, the main camera is capable of recording 6K videos at 30fps.
It comes in with a 5,000 mAh battery with 20W fast-charging support via USB-C port, it also supports 15W reverse wireless charging and comes with Android 11-based My UX running out-of-the-box,
The device is 9.7 mm thick and it weighs 215 grams.

Motorola Edge S starts at 1,999 yuan (~Rs. 22,500) for the 6/128GB model, 2,399 yuan (~Rs. 27,000) for the 8/128GB and 2,799 yuan (~Rs. 31,500) for the top 8/256GB variant in a single Emerald Light color in China.
It is expected to be launched in other regions soon.
