Xiaomi has finally rolled the covers off its much-awaited Mi 10 series with the launch of Mi 10 and the Mi 10 Pro at the event held in China, the launch comes in just a day after Samsung launched the Galaxy S20 series on Tuesday.
Both the Mi 10 and Mi 10 comes in packed with Snapdragon 865 chipset, 108MP Quad-lens camera and massive battery.
Mi 10 specifications
Starting with the design Mi 10 series features a similar design from the front and back as the Mi Note 10 series (Mi CC9 in China) launched last year.
Mi 10 is powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 865 chipset with Snapdragon X55 modem that offers 5G connectivity. It comes in coupled with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.0 internal storage. On the inside, it also baked in with a 3000 sq. mm. liquid cooling plate, vapor chamber, with intelligent temperature control.
Mi 10 features a Quad-lens camera setup on the back which has a 108MP primary sensor with OIS support, there’s a 13MP (f/2.4) ultra-wide-angle lens with 123-degree FOV, a 2MP (f/2.4) macro lens that reaches as closes as 2cm and also there’s a 2MP depth sensor.
It offers 8K video recording at 24 frames per second, OIS+EIS for super stabilized video recording and some other useful camera features.
It comes in with Android 10 based MiUI 11 running out-of-the-box which includes multiple features like a dark theme and a number of work/life-focused features.
It features a huge 4,780 mAh battery with 30W fast-charging and as per the company, it can be charged from 0-100 in just 56 minutes. It also offers 30W wireless charging and 10W reverse charging making it a new addition to the premium flagship smartphones.
Mi 10 will be available in three beautiful colors named Titanium Silver Black, Ice Blue, and Peach Gold.
Mi 10 Pro specs
Mi 10 Pro features similar design and specifications as Mi 10 with a few ugrades like it features 1200 nits of brightness compared with 800 nits in base variant.
Mi 10 Pro comes in with a quad-lens camera with a 108MP (f/1.69) Samsung Bright HMX primary sensor, a 20MP (f/2.2) ultra-wide-angle camera, a 12MP telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom, and an 8MP (f/2.0) super-telephoto camera with 5x optical zoom.
It has a smaller 4,500 mAh battery with 50W super fast USB charging.
Mi 10 Pro will be available in two beautiful colors named Pear White and Starry Blue.
Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro Pricing and Availability:
Mi 10 starts at 3,999 yuan (about Rs. 41,000) for base variant of 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage
8GB+256GB variant is priced at 4,299 yuan (~Rs. 44,000) and the top variant of 12GB+256GB will be available for 4,699 yuan (~Rs. 48,000) in China.
Mi 10 Pro starts at 4,999 yuan (about Rs. 51,000) for base variant of 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage,
12GB+256GB variant is priced at 5,499 yuan (~Rs. 56,000) and the top variant of 12GB+512GB will be available for 5,999 yuan (~Rs. 61,000) in China.
