LG has played a big game as its dual-screen phone uses an additional flip phone case with a secondary screen that connects to the single screen phone and makes the phone a dual-screen phone unlike the fixed screen in Samsung Galaxy Fold and the Microsoft Surface Duo. The price of LG G8X ThinQ at $699 also puts it ahead of other dual-screen phones.
It has a 6.4-inch FHD+ (1080 x 2340 pixels) OLED display with an 83.3% screen-to-body ratio with a dewdrop notch that holds a 32MP (f/1.9) selfie camera. It includes an under-display fingerprint sensor that works relatively fast than some other devices.
It is powered by octa-core Snapdragon 855 chipset and Adreno 640 GPU, paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 1TB using a microSD card.

It has a dual-lens rear camera with a 12MP (f/1.8) primary camera and a 13MP ultra-wide lens with 136-degree FOV which includes multiple camera features.
It comes with Android 9.0 (Pie) running out-of-the-box it includes an unremovable 4,000 mAh battery with 21W fast charging (Quick Charge 4.0) support and it also supports wireless charging at 9W. It includes Bluetooth 5.0, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB 3.1 Type-C port for charging and data transfer.
The battery seems low for dual-screen display but the company says that it can run for a full day in a single charge with one screen.
