South Korean tech giant LG Electronics has unveiled the LG Folder 2 a new flip phone that is targeted for elders, young people, and people who prefer simple functions for a phone.

LG Folder 2 features a flip phone design that and comes with two displays – a 2.8-inch QVGA primary display and a 0.9-inch monochrome panel to display notifications for texts and calls.
It comes in power with the Snapdragon 210 SoC, 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage and it comes in equipped with ‘SOS Key’, ‘AI Voice Service’, etc., which are useful for the elderly, youth, and customers who prefer simple functions.
It offers big and easy-to-use physical keys on the bottom with a dedicated call pick and rejecting key. If you press the hotkey button on the top of the call button, AI voice service or recording function is executed depending on the carrier.
It includes a 2MP Primary Camera on the back that sits beside the SOS key which allows you to quickly call a pre-registered number by pressing it three times within 1.5 seconds. LG Folder 2 is equipped with a data security lock function that prevents unintentional data charges. It offers 4G support, WiFi, and Bluetooth for connectivity and weighs just 127 grams.
It comes in with a 1,470 mAh battery with a micro USB charger. According to the company it offers up to 7.5 hours (Single SIM & Dual SIM) and stand by for up to 22 days (Dual SIM), up to 30 days (Single SIM)
It will be available at 198,000 won (around Rs. 12,400) in New Platinum Grey and White options. It will go on sale in South Korea from April 17th, 2020.
Launch in other countries could be announced soon.
