Vivo’s gaming sub-brand iQOO has officially launched the iQOO 5 and iQOO 5 Pro 5G in China.

iQOO 5 Pro features a 6.56-inch Full HD+ AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate display that offers a 19:5:9 aspect ratio, 92.6% screen-to-body ratio, and HDR 10+ support. It features a punch-hole over the right top of the display that holds a 16MP (f/2.5) selfie camera with 1080p video calling support.

It comes in powered by the Snapdragon 865 CPU and Adreno 650 GPU, coupled with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage (UFS 3.1). It features an under-display fingerprint sensor for security and comes in with Android 10-based iQOO UI 1.5 running out of the box.

iQOO 5 Pro includes a Superconducting VC liquid cooling system with 14581mm² heat conduction area to keep your device cool and offers a smooth gaming experience.

It features a vertical triple-lens rear camera setup with a 50MP (f/1.9) Samsung GN1 primary sensor with PDAF and OIS technology, an 8MP (f/3.4) periscope telephoto lens with 5X optical zoom and a 13MP (f/2.2) ultra-wide lens with 120-degree FOV with up to 8K video recording support.

It comes in with a 4,000 mAh battery with 120W fast-charging technology support that the company says can juice up the battery from 0-100 percent in just 15 minutes, it also supports reverse charging (no fast-charging).

On connectivity, it offers WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, and a USB-C port.

iQOO 5 Pro 5G Pricing & Availability:

iQOO 5 Pro 5G starts at 4,998 yuan (~Rs.53,900) for the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage base variant and 5,498 yuan (~Rs. 59,300) for the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage top variant.

It is available on sale starting from August 24th in China in two beautiful color options named Track Version and Legendary Edition (translated from Chinese).
