Huawei has launched Huawei Y7a (rebranded Huawei P Smart 2021) adding a new device to its Y series smartphone lineups in Malaysia.

Huawei Y7a has a 6.67-inch FHD+ (2400 x 1080 pixels) IPS LCD display with a 20:9 aspect ratio and 84.3% screen-to-body ratio. It features a tiny punch-hole cutout on the top center of the display that holds an 8MP (f/2.0) selfie camera that offers up to 1080p video calling support.
It comes in power with the Kirin 710A chipset paired with 4GB of RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage (UFS 2.1) which can be expanded up to 512GB using a microSD card.
It features a rectangular quad-lens rear camera with a 48MP (f/1.8) primary sensor with PDAF, an 8MP (f/2.4) ultra-wide-angle lens with 120-degree FOV, a 2MP (f/2.0) macro lens, and a 2MP (f/2.4) depth sensor with up to 4K video recording support. It also includes a fingerprint sensor on the right side of the device for security and other features.
It comes with Android 10 based on EMUI 10.1 running out-of-the-box (without Google Play services) it includes a 5,000 mAh battery with 22.5W fast charging support.
On connectivity, it offers WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB-C port for charging and data transfer.

Huawei Y7a is available at RM799 ($190/€160) for the single 4GB + 128GB storage variant in three beautiful color options namely Crush Green, Blush Gold, and Midnight Black.
It will be available on sale starting from October 30 in Malaysia.
