Huawei has officially launched the Huawei P50 series adding two new smartphones Huawei P50 Pro and Huawei P50 to Huawei’s flagship P series in China.

Huawei P50 Pro 5G has a 6.6-inch FHD+ (1228 x 2700 pixels) OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate screen, 300Hz touch sampling rate, a 91.2% screen-to-body ratio and 19:5:9 aspect ratio screen, it features a punch hole on the top center of the screen that holds a 13MP (f/2.4) selfie camera with HDR and up to 4K video recording support.
Huawei P50 Pro 5G comes in powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 (Global) / Kirin 9000 (China) chipset coupled with 8GB/12GB of RAM and 128GB/256GB/512GB of internal storage (UFS 3.1) which can be expanded up to 256GB using a nano memory card on the shared SIM slot.
It features a vertical ring-shaped quad-lens rear camera setup with a 50MP (f/1.8) primary sensor with omnidirectional PDAF, Laser AF and OIS support, a 64MP (f/3.5) periscope cum telephoto lens with PDAF, OIS and 3.5X optical zoom, a 13MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 40MP (f/1.6) B&W lens packed with major mobile photography features including 4K video recording support.
It features an under-display fingerprint sensor for authentication and other features. It comes with Huawei’s HarmonyOS 2.0 running out-of-the-box.
It includes a 4,360 mAh battery with 66W fast wired and 50W fast wireless charging support that offers all day battery life. On connectivity, it offers Bluetooth 5.2, Wi-Fi 6, NFC, Infrared port, and a USB-C 3.1 port for charging and data transfer. It does not offer the 3.5mm headphone jack,
Huawei P50 Pro 5G starts at 5,999 yuan for the 8GB + 128GB base variant, the 256GB and 512GB variant is available for 6,499 yuan and 7,499 yuan respectively while the top variant with 12GB of RAM and 512GB storage is priced at 7,999 yuan available in Black, Gold, White, Pink, and Blue color options in China.
