Huawei has launched the Huawei P40 Lite 5G which is almost identical to the Huawei nova 7 SE launched earlier and makes it one of the most affordable 5G smartphones in Europe.

Huawei P40 Lite 5G has a 6.5-inch FHD+ (1080 x 2400 pixels) IPS LCD display with an 83.8% screen-to-body ratio, 20:9 aspect ratio with HDR10 support. On the top left, it features a punch hole on the screen that holds a 16MP (f/2.0) selfie camera with 1080p video calling support.
It comes in powered by Kirin 820 CPU and Mali G57 GPU, coupled with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 256GB using a microSD card on the shared SIM slot.
It features a vertical quad-lens rear camera with a 64MP (f/1.8) primary camera with PDAF technology, an 8MP (f/2.4) ultra-wide-angle lens, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP macro sensor packed with major mobile photography features. It features a fingerprint sensor embedded on the side power button for authentication.
It comes with Android 10-based EMUI 10.1 running out-of-the-box without Google Play Services which is the major set back for a 5G smartphone.
It includes a 4,000 mAh battery with 40W fast charging and 5W reverse charging support, the company says it can charge the device from 0-70% in just 30 minutes.
It includes Bluetooth 5.1, Wi-Fi, NFC, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a micro USB-C port for charging and data transfer.
Huawei P40 Lite 5G is available for 400 euros (about Rs. 32,800) for the single 6GB + 128GB variant in Europe. It is available in three beautiful colors named Crush Green, Space Silver, and Midnight Black.
It is available for pre-order and shipping will start from May 29th.
