Huawei has launched the Huawei Nova 8i adding a successor to the Huawei Nova 7i launched last year in Malaysia.

Huawei Nova 8i has a 6.67-inch FHD+ (2,376 x 1080 pixels) IPS LCD Punch FullView display with 391ppi pixel density and a punch hole cutout on the top left of the screen that holds a 16MP (f/2.0) selfie camera that offers HDR and up to 1080p video recording support.

Huawei Nova 8i comes in powered with the Snapdragon 662 chipset coupled with 6GB/8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage with no expandable memory support.

It comes in with a ring-shaped quad-lens rear camera setup with a 64MP (f/1.9) primary camera with PDAF, an 8MP (f/2.4) ultra-wide-angle lens with 120-degree FOV, a 2MP (f/2.4) depth sensor, and a 2MP (f/2.4) macro lens packed with major mobile photography features. On the side of the device, it includes a dedicated fingerprint sensor on the right side of the device for authentication.

It comes with Android 10-based EMUI 11 running out-of-the-box it includes an unremovable 4,300 mAh battery with 66W HUAWEI SuperCharge support that the company says can charge from 0-60 in just 17 minutes and 100% in just 38 minutes.

It includes Dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB-C port for charging and data transfer.

Huawei Nova 8i is available for MYR1,299 for the single 8GB + 128GB variant available in three beautiful colors named Moonlight Silver, Interstellar Blue, and Starry Black color options in Malaysia.
