Huawei has launched the Huawei Nova 8 SE 4G successor to the Huawei Nova 7 SE Youth launched earlier this year in China.

Huawei Nova 8 SE 4G comes in with a 6.5-inch FHD+ (2400 x 1080 pixels) OLED display with a dot notch on the top of the screen that holds a 16MP (f/2.0) front-facing camera with 1080p video calling support.

Huawei Nova 8 SE 4G is powered by the Huawei’s Kirin 710A chipset coupled with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of (UFS 2.1) internal storage with no expandable memory support. It includes an under-display fingerprint sensor for authentication and other features.

It comes in with a square-shaped quad-lens rear camera setup with a 64MP (f/1.9) primary sensor with PDAF, an 8MP ultra-wide angle lens with 120-degree FOV, a 2MP (f/2.4) macro lens, and a 2MP (f/2.4) depth sensor with LED flash packed with major mobile photography features.

It comes with HarmonyOS 2.0 running out-of-the-box and includes a 3,800 mAh battery with 66W fast-charging support that the company says can charge from 0-100% in just 30 minutes. On connectivity, it offers dual band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1 and a USB-C 2.0 port for charging and data transfer (no 3.5mm headphone jack).

Huawei Nova 8 SE 4G is priced at 2,099 yuan for the single 8GB + 128GB variant available in Black, Blue, Aurora and Silver color options in China.
