Huawei has unveiled the most-awaited Mate 40 series with the launch of Huawei Mate 40 Pro 5G and Huawei Mate 40 Pro+ 5G in China.

Huawei Mate 40 Pro+ 5G has a 6.76-inch QHD+ (1344 x 2772 pixels) Curved OLED display with 90Hz refresh rate screen, an 18:5:9 aspect ratio and 94.1% screen-to-body ratio. It features a punch-hole cutout on the top left of the display that holds a dual -lens selfie camera which includes a 13MP (f/2.4) primary sensor and a TOF 3D lens (biometric sensor for Face ID) that offers up to 4K video recording support.
It comes in power with the Kirin 9000 5G chipset paired with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage (UFS 3.1) which can be expanded up to 256GB using a nano memory card.
It features a circular penta-lens rear camera with a 50MP (f/1.9) primary sensor with Omnidirectional PDAF, Laser AF and OIS, a 12MP (f/2.4) telephoto lens with 3X optical zoom, PDAF and OIS support, an 8MP (f/4.4) periscope cum telephoto lens with 10X optical zoom, PDAF and OIS, a 20MP (f/1.8) ultra-wide-angle lens, and a TOF 3D depth sensor with up to 4K video recording support.
It also offers an under-display fingerprint sensor that unlocks the device in just 0.21 seconds. It comes with Android 10 based on EMUI 11 running out-of-the-box (without Google Play services).
It includes a 4,400 mAh battery with 66W fast charging, 50W wireless fast-charging and 5W reverse wireless charging support. On connectivity, it offers WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, NavIC, NFC, Infrared port and a USB-C (3.1) port for charging and data transfer.
