Huawei has unveiled the most-awaited Mate 40 series with the launch of Huawei Mate 40 5G, Huawei Mate 40 Pro 5G and Huawei Mate 40 Pro+ 5G in China.

Huawei Mate 40 5G has a 6.5-inch FHD+ (1080 x 2376 pixels) Curved OLED display with 90Hz refresh rate screen, HDR10+, an 18:5:9 aspect ratio and 89.3% screen-to-body ratio. It features a punch-hole cutout on the top left of the display that holds a 13MP (f/2.4) selfie camera that offers up to 4K video recording support.
It comes in power with the Kirin 9000E 5G chipset paired with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage (UFS 3.1) which can be expanded up to 256GB using a nano memory card.
It features a circular triple-lens rear camera with a 50MP (f/1.9) primary sensor with Omnidirectional PDAF and Laser AF, an 8MP (f/2.4) telephoto lens with optical zoom, PDAF and OIS support, and a 16MP (f/2.2) ultra-wide-angle lens that offers up to 4K video recording support.
It also offers an under-display fingerprint sensor that unlocks the device in just 0.21 seconds. It comes with Android 10 based on EMUI 11 running out-of-the-box (without Google Play services).
It includes a 4,200 mAh battery with 40W fast charging support. On connectivity, it offers WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, NavIC, NFC, Infrared port, a 3.5mm headphone jack and a USB-C (3.1) port for charging and data transfer.
