Huawei has silently added a new 5G smartphone to its Mate 30 series after the launch of the Huawei Mate 40 series in China.

Huawei Mate 30E Pro 5G has a 6.53-inch FHD+ (1176 x 2400 pixels) Curved OLED display with HDR10+, 18:5:9 aspect ratio, and 94.1% screen-to-body ratio. It features a smooth notch on the top of the display that holds a dual-lens selfie camera which includes a 32MP (f/2.0) primary sensor and a TOF sensor that offers up to 1080p video recording support.
It comes in power with the Kirin 990E 5G chipset paired with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage (UFS 3.0) which can be expanded up to 256GB using a nano memory card.
It features a circular quad-lens rear camera with a 40MP (f/1.6) primary sensor with PDAF and OIS, an 8MP (f/2.4) telephoto lens with 3X optical zoom, PDAF and OIS support, a 40MP (f/1.8) ultra-wide-angle lens, and a TOF 3D sensor that offers up to 4K video recording support.
It also offers an under-display fingerprint sensor that unlocks the device in just 0.21 seconds. It comes with Android 10 based on EMUI 11 running out-of-the-box (without Google Play services).
It includes a 4,500 mAh battery with 40W fast charging, 27W wireless charging, and reverse wireless charging support. On connectivity, it offers dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, an Infrared port, and a USB-C (3.1) port for charging and data transfer.
