Honor Play 4 with Dimensity 800 SoC, 64MP Quad-lens camera launched

Huawei’s sub-brand Honor has announced its new mid-range smartphone Honor Play 4 and Honor Play 4 Pro after the release of the Honor Play 4T series in China.

Honor Play 4 specifications:

Honor Play 4 has a 6.81-inch Full HD+ IPS LCD display with a 20:9 aspect ratio and 83.9% screen-to-body ratio. It features a punch-hole cutout on the top left of the screen that holds a 16MP (f/2.0) selfie camera with 1080p video calling support.

Honor Play 4 features the MediaTek Dimensity 800 CPU and Mali-G57 GPU paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage that can be expanded up to 512GB using a microSD card slot. It also features a fingerprint sensor-equipped inside the unlock button on the right side of the device.

It comes in with a rectangular quad-lens rear camera setup that includes a 64MP (f/1.9) primary sensor with PDAF support, an 8MP (f/2.2) ultra-wide-angle lens, a 2MP macro lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. It supports 4K video recording at 30 frames per second and gyro EIS support.

It has a 4,300 mAh battery with a 22.5W fast charging adapter that can charge the device from 0-70% in just 30 minutes. It offers a 3.5mm headphone jack and for connectivity, it offers dual-band WiFi and Bluetooth 5.1 support.

It comes in with Android 10- based Magic UI 3.1 with no Google Play Services running out of the box.

Honor Play 4 Pricing & Availability

Honor Play 4 is available in a single variant of 8GB + 128GB variant priced at 1,999 yuan (~Rs. 21,100).

It comes in two gradient colors named Magic Night Black and Phantom Blue (translated from Chinese) color options and it is available to purchase from VMall starting today.
