Huawei’s sub-brand Honor has announced its new mid-range smartphone Honor Play 4 and Honor Play 4 Pro after the release of the Honor Play 4T series in China.

Honor Play 4 Pro has a 6.57-inch Full HD+ IPS LCD display with a 20:9 aspect ratio and 84.5% screen-to-body ratio. It features a punch-hole cutout on the top left of the screen that holds a dual-lens selfie camera setup with a 32MP (f/2.0) primary sensor and an 8MP (f/2.0) ultra-wide-angle lens.
Honor Play 4 Pro features the Kirin 990 CPU and Mali-G76 GPU coupled with 8GB of RAM and 128GB (UFS 2.1) internal storage with no expansion using a microSD card available. It also features a fingerprint sensor-equipped inside the unlock button on the right side of the device.
It comes in with a rectangular dual-lens rear camera setup that includes a 40MP (f/1.8) primary sensor with PDAF support, and an 8MP (f/2.4) telephoto lens with OIS and 3X optical zoom support. It supports 4K video recording at 30 frames per second and gyro EIS support.
It has a 4,200 mAh battery with a 40W fast charging adapter that can charge the device from 0-70% in just 30 minutes. It does not offer a 3.5mm headphone jack but for connectivity, it offers dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.1, and NFC support.
It comes in with Android 10- based Magic UI 3.1 with no Google Play Services running out of the box.

Honor Play 4 Pro is available in a single variant of 8GB + 128GB variant priced at 2,899 yuan (~Rs. 30,700).
It comes in three gradient colors named Magic Night Black, Mecha Blue, and Iceland illusion (translated from Chinese) color options and available to purchase from VMall starting today.
