A notable team of iPhone hackers has released a new “jailbreak” tool that can unlock every iPhone even the latest models of iPhone running with the latest iOS 13.5 version.
Apple has been known for keeping iPhones safe from hacking using the “walled green” approach by allowing only apps and customizations that it approves which the hackers call ‘jail’ and have always tried to break free calling it “jailbreak”.
Hackers approach by finding an undisclosed vulnerability in iOS to break through some of the restrictions that Apple puts in place to prevent access to the unapproved software. According to the company, this helps in improving the security of the iPhone but the hackers say that this restricts users from customizing the iPhones like users are able to customize the Android devices.
The latest version of jailbreak released by the unc0ver team supports all iPhones that are compatible with iOS 11 and above including iOS 13.5 which Apple released earlier this week.
The hackers has not revealed the vulnerability they used to build the new jailbreak tool of the iOS yet but we can expect that Apple will soon patch this vulnerability and close the jailbreak soon.
According to security experts jailbreaking iPhone is not an ideal approach as it increases the chances of new vulnerability to exist on your devices.
