After a bunch of leaks released about Google’s new Pixel 4, Google decided to jump one step ahead of the leakers and dropped a new video of is new Pixel 4, earlier Google teased the image of its new Pixel 4 displaying its design.
The new video posted by Google displays the new Pixel 4 will have face scan for unlocking the device. We listed some of the things we found will be available in the Google Pixel 4.
Face Unlock:
Google is bringing Face Unlock to its upcoming Pixel with which the company says is more advanced than the feature we find in other smartphones with face unlock features. Face Unlock feature of Google works even if your phone is upside down.
Pixel 4’s Face Unlock can be used for secure payments and app authentication too.
Motion Sense:
Google Pixel 4 will feature motion sense thanks to a new Soli Radar Chip which will allow you to skip songs, snooze alarms, and silence phone calls, just by waving your hand.
Dual Cameras:
Let’s start with the one that catches our eyes first, there are two cameras in the top of the phone positioned in the middle of a bulging square that is seen popping out of the back. Google Pixel 4 will be the first phone to have dual cameras as Google has always stayed with a single-lens rear camera in all previous versions of Pixel also in Pixel 3a.
As like all other companies doing Google is also expected to add a telephoto lens or an ultrawide lens to its second camera. Apple added the second telephoto lens to its rear camera which added more zoom capabilities and the Portrait Mode to its iPhones.
There’s a mysterious third sensor can also be seen on the top of the image, YouTuber Lewis Hilsenteger host of the Unbox Therapy also reported that the Pixel 4’s camera bump would have a sensor above the two cameras identified as the spectral sensor. It’s totally acceptable as Google has been using this sensor called the “flicker sensor” in Pixel 3 and it’s used to help the camera deal with strobing lights or screens.
There’s a dual flash and another sensor below the camera lens in the corner this could be an additional microphone, laser autofocus, or a spectral/flicker sensors which Google used in Pixel 3.
Internal Specifications:
Google Pixel 4 could feature the Snapdragon 855 processor and 6/8GB of RAM.
Different Color Power Button on Black Model:
This is a small change but a noticeable change as the previous model of Pixel had different color Power Button like Pixel 3 in white color has Orange Power Button but the Black Pixel had the same color Power button.
The new design shows that the black model will finally get the contrast button which adds a nice, subtle pop to the phone, and it looks like a white power button this time around.
New Rear Design:
The image posted by Google gives an easy look that the new Pixel 4 will have a different rear design than the previous versions of Pixel which always had a glossy glass section on top and a larger matte section below.
The image doesn’t make it clear that the back of the new device will be matte or glossy but it’s confirmed that design is changed.
